FAQs & Latest Updates from Lily & Arthur’s

As things are changing by the minute, we’ve put together all of our current opening and operating information here. Check this page before you book and we’ll update it as often as we can with everything you need to know.

Still got queries? Call us on 01942 665950.

10pm Closing

We will now be closing at 10pm, which means that the last booking for food will be 8.30pm and last drinks will be called at 9.30pm.

Will I be asked to leave?

In 6 years I don’t think we have ever asked anyone to leave but we legally need to be closed at 10pm so please don’t be offended if we hand you your bill or ask you to drink up.

Current Opening Hours

Until further notice, our opening hours are:
Thursday-Saturday 12pm-10pm
Lunch: 12pm-3pm
Dinner: 5pm-8.30pm
Last orders: 9.30pm
Sunday 12pm-10pm
Antipasti & sharing plates: All day
Last orders: 9.30pm

Table Service

We have been running table service since reopening so there are no changes here, but we would ask you to remain seated at your table unless you need to use the bathroom or to leave.

If you’d like your bill, please don’t come to the bar – just ask a member of staff and you can pay at your table.

Track & Trace

Since the beginning we have supported the government with track & trace with our own QR system however it is now a legal requirement that we use the NHS Track & Trace; it would be helpful if you download the App before you arrive. It’s quick & easy and you don’t need to submit any personal details.

Card Payments

We are currently a cashless venue, so card and contactless payments only.

Face Coverings

It is now a legal requirement for both our staff and customers to wear face coverings (unless you are medically exempt) whilst travelling around the venue; that means any time you’re on your feet, using the loo or leaving. You may remove your face covering once you are sat at your table.

Rule of 6

We can currently only accept bookings or walk-ins for one single household per table (or a legal support bubble!).

Please do not ask us to book 2 tables of 6 or a 4 and a 3 because we know you will be tempted to mix with each other and we don’t fancy coughing up the £10k fine either!

Be Kind!

Our staff are doing their best to take care of you in a way that is safe and following the guidelines to help stop the spread of the virus. Please be kind to them! Be gracious as we navigate the new normal; it costs nothing!

Support Independent

Stay local! Now more than ever, we need your support. If it’s us or Domino’s, book a table with us – it will help take care of our future so fingers crossed we’ll come out of this on the other side.
